For some, Aston Martin is a distant dream, a symbol of luxury and performance. But for others, like Arjun Johal and Manraj Sanghera, it becomes an integral part of their lives. These I / AM members share their unforgettable experience at the AMR Technology Campus, an encounter that left a lasting impact.
"It's not just about the speed or the power," Arjun explains. "It's the feeling it evokes. Every time I drive my DBS, I feel a connection to something special. The way it glides on the road, never losing its allure, is simply extraordinary. Some experiences only get better with time, and this is one of them."
A Visit to the AMR Technology Campus
Arjun and Manraj's journey began with a drive to Silverstone. Arjun, a motorsport engineering student, was particularly excited, yet nervous, as they approached the AMR Technology Campus. "Parking under the wings of the campus, I took a moment to appreciate the car. It was as if I was absorbing its essence."
Inside, the atmosphere was electric. Everyone was focused, dedicated to their tasks. Arjun, being a student of motorsport engineering, was in awe. "Turning a corner and seeing Formula One cars being worked on up close was an incredible experience. It hit me then—I wasn't just visiting a team; I was visiting my brand, the one that has shaped my understanding of cars and excellence."
The Bond with Aston Martin
Arjun reminisced about growing up with Bond films, where the elegant Aston Martin silhouette left a lasting impression. "The DBS feels like an extension of that legacy. It's a naturally aspirated V12, a rarity these days. It's like holding a piece of history, and I never take that for granted."
Manraj, on the other hand, joined I / AM out of his love for Formula One and Aston Martin. "Walking into the campus, I felt like I belonged. It was as if I was being let into a secret world. The front wings, the concentrated engineers—it all felt so normal yet extraordinary."
A New Perspective
Holding a sidepod and a steering wheel, Manraj realized the complexity of what Lance and Fernando do on the track. "The buttons, the dials—it's a whole new world. I know I'll never watch a race the same way again."

As Arjun and Manraj drove away from the campus, they felt a shift. "It's as if the DBS carried a new energy, a deeper connection. Inside the Technology Campus, you can feel the momentum building. It made me reflect on why I chose engineering, why Aston Martin holds such a special place in my heart. It's the feeling it gives you—a sense of excellence and belonging."
